ask channing crowder about draft grades and leaving early
For every 1 guy that actually pans out, there are 100 that don't even make it. There are 256 guys that get drafted. You think all of them even make it into their first NFL season? They don't.
Also, LB isn't DT.
You obviously dont know the story smart guy.
He was given 1st round grade out by draft advisory board and Kiper, but went in the 3rd.
If RJ is getting a avg of 3rd round grade by 6 teams, then he probably is gonna be a 5-6th rnd pick. I would bet that Kendrick goes in a late round or possibly FA. You have to be real about the situation.
So we have supposedly the best DL coach in the business, spots being vacated left and right and yet we can't find anyone to come in and play. Something isn't adding up here.
dumb decision if they indeed go pro. they aint even ready for that level yet and will sell themselves like a $10 hooker. instead choose to come back, refine your skills, and get 1/2 round money
No, you are ignoring one thing. Injury. A serious one, blown knee..and their football careers might be over. Zero chance of football $$, barring a miracle in FA down the road. When it makes all the sense in the world to come back BOTH for the team and themselves, and yet they cant conceive that, its infuriating. I know a lot will say you don't know their situation.
Even a 3rd round pick (not guaranteed, but possible for either) is somewhere around $3 mill, though only $750k guaranteed. That's even with injury in camp I believe.
You all are viewing this myopically as fans. I'd love for them to return, but I wouldn't listen to a single fool on a message board about what decision to make with my life...and I'm not in their shoes. Yes, they could make a lot more by returning, balling out and getting drafted higher. Or they could bust a knee and get Ditka. I'm not going to hold it against either for leaving just because I want them to stay.

Why does this logic make sense on this board?? They rathervmake money now than two years from now it's really that simple.

Because some of the people on this board understand the concept of delaying gratification for long term best interest.
MAN Y'ALL CLOSE THIS THREAD THEY GONE ............. THEY GONE. WHY KEEP THIS **** OPEN SO OTHER GROWN MEN CAN COME CRY ABOUT HOW THE SKY IS FALLING......
NO ITS NOT TO PLAYERS ARE LEAVING BIG ****ING DEAL WE'LL MANAGE THIS IS THE ACC NOT LIKE WE'RE PLAYING SOME OFFENSIVE JUGGERNAUTS WEEK END AND WEEK OUT THE GOAL IS TO PLAY IN THE ACC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME AND WIN ALL OF THEM IF POSSIBLE BUT AT A MINIMUM PLAY IN THE ACCCG EVERY YEAR FOR THE NEXT 10 YEARS.
THAT'S SUSTAINED WINNING RECRUITING WILL CONTINUE TO GET BETTER.

I hate to say it but BAGS. How can you explain other DL going to other schools that are already stacked at DL when we are wide open for playing time next year. NCAA supposed to promote a level playing field but the way the current system is now set up only the top dogs get the good players and can get into the playoffs. Miami and Wisconsin have a good record but weak schedule? Narrative is they have to go undefeated to get in the playoff because of the 'weak' schedule. Alabama has weak schedule and doesn't even win their conference, no one talks about it and they get in.

DL prospects are probably the most heavily recruited and Kul has openly said he doesn't like recruiting.

Anybody else read Jackson's post yelling in their head?
Neither of these guys are on the latter list per the advisory analysis, just highly improbable as early rounders. 3rd-5th far more likely. That's altogether different from not drafted/never play in league. The list of guys who have injured themselves coming back for another year is tiny compare to the list of guys who left early and never played in the league.
