nyjalik kelly would be a starter let alone two deep. Its been stated many times he didnt leave for talent/playing issues...mesidor was sent inside.

You literally said he's going to portal out by his sophomore season. Tell me how that happens without him either thinking he should be getting PT asap and going to try to get it. If he isn't ready to contribute he will just sit and develop, you know like every other Dlineman and Olineman staff has kept under development for multiple years now.

Like I just don't get why you think it doesn't make sense to have OLine/DLineman that you have developing for multiple years. It's like the two position groups it makes by far the MOST sense to have that game plan with

I'm sorry, what? You don't understand how a play chooses to jump into the portal because he isn't getting playing time?

After 1 season at DT? Uh again so you think we don't have the ability to stop him from transferring to a ****** school to get PT if we want to keep him? Lmao I've already said that you're talking in a circle here. ... Cause otherwise he's not transferring to a comparable program and getting PT, otherwise he'd just be getting PT here. It could be we mutually agree to part ways, but then it's literally nbd at all.

Your entire point regarding a developmental 3star just makes zero sense for the OLine/DLine imo.

I don't think Kelly would beat out Mesidor... I think it's been said Mesidor prefers playing outside, and if he's playing at this level he currently is, I don't think Kelly can get there, but Kelly is definitely a productive Big 12 player…And he would be playing here. People forget he flashed as a frosh had 5.5 sacks last year and another 2 this year thus far and is one of the highest rated DE in the country.

Kelly has had a nice career at 2 schools, and even though his position is a team strength for us he would be solidly in the rotation and another asset to a bad *** DL. He has a chance to get drafted.

are you saying that if Sainteus wants to portal out of Miami after his freshman year, Miami can prevent that from happening?

Dont think they have watched Kelly and just maybe stat watching. He would definitely be in the 2 deep playing a ton if not starting.
Folks didnt think Elijah Roberts would start here either apparently or was a jag.

A) Yes.
B) Even if he did portal out, it literally would NOT matter. We have MAJOR depth needs at DLine/OLine. That is just a fact. Id be down to bring in 5 DTs who have size and POSSIBILITY to be a hit ( with 1 being an elite 5star type), and just seeing who sticks after 2 yrs. That is a perfectly valid strategy. You see how things shake out after a year, who is making the most progress, who wants to stay and leave, and you make the best decision from there. Then the following year you do the exact same thing. That's how you stay loaded at these positions. We need to be able to keep guys we want in the program 3 years especially these developmental guys. And if it comes to keeping him because by yr 3 we think he will contribute or he transfers to fAU after year 2, I am 100% confident we can keep him.

I don't think a team can prevent a player from entering the portal. I need you to cite a source for that.
 
105 schollies…. Obviously more room everywhere but I really like that DT and CB are two that are two they appear to be stacking.
