I'm not a big fan of using a spot on him. I would have even taken this guy over him. I know they are different positions but DT is the worst position we have, and with a lack of local talent this year, I would have preferred a spot for Joe Brown to go to Cerenord or this guy.

Just a joke though. Clearly this kid is an athlete, I did not expect that speed.

We signed 4 DTs, and had 4 OL until Gibbons flipped. They obviously wanted someone to replace Gibbons and felt good with 4 DTs. If you don't like him as an OL, then fine (not sure how that could be determined though), but saying we shouldn't replace Gibbons and take a 5th DT instead messes up the numbers they want.

Exactly. The way I see it is we did awesome with the O Line. We may not have quantity but we have quality. At DT we have neither.
