if that’s your argument then that’s really weak. Light foot stayed at edge. Keeley was asked to put on weight and moved to the interior yet he still hit the QB more than him.
 
Keeley would likely require a crazy price tag that wouldn’t be worth it.

Keeley also never moved to the interior. He put on weight to go from OB to their front.

“Keeley made the move from outside linebacker to Bandit defensive end before the 2024 season at Alabama. He played in five games in his second year in Tuscaloosa but only recorded three tackles. Keeley, a former 5-star recruit, did not see the field as a true freshman. He redshirted in Year 1 and has made steady progress throughout his career with the Crimson Tide.”





Any interior clips there?

I’d take our guy, Lightfoot. The younger player who makes a much bigger impact playing behind the 2 best edge’s in America on the best defense in America.

I’m sure someone will get something out of Keeley, but unless he wants to come here for much cheaper than I’d imagine, I’ll pass.

My argument is He's a class older than Lightfoot,I expect Lightfoot after another off season to gain 8-10 lbs double his snaps with Bain and Mesidor gone and he's sack numbers to explode.

So your argument is him lining up at 5 tech? When does Lightfoot put his hand in the dirt right over the OT in 5 tech? That same article you’re quoting literally says he’s LT Overtons backup as well which you ironically left out.

No one is saying that he deserves premier money but stop acting as if he couldn’t do what we ask Bain to do. He’s doing it in that very clip.

There is no argument. You said he doesn’t play edge and plays interior. Yet every quote and clip is literally saying he plays edge and every clip is showing him playing edge, lol. My quote says nothing about Overton btw. But yes, he backs up Overton who is, you guessed it, an edge. It’s okay to admit you’re wrong.

You did the exact same thing with that scrub we took from GAST years ago, screaming that he wasn’t an interior when in fact he was and played nothing but interior here for us (and ******* sucked at it too btw).

He can’t do what we ask Bain to do because he aint 1/10 the player Bain is. If he was he would have played more and Bama wouldn’t have had their worst rush defense in 20 years. Let TAMU/LSU/OM take him and be a non factor there, we are better than this.

There you again with your dumb ****. You ever watch Bama play? LT plays everywhere…just like Bain. You supposedly used to work in football right?? Then you should know better than to say “He can’t play what Bain plays because he’s not 1/10 the player Bain is”. Bain plays a certain role in our D and guess what? We’re going to find a dude that can play that role. It has nothing to do with Rueben going top 5 or not.
