I’m sorry but though Rix and Durden are both 0-5 against UM, i have to go with Rix as the greatest single contributor to UM wins over FSU. Regardless of whether it was the 1st quarter or overtime, regardless of the weather. Over and over again he didn’t just put UM in a position to win, he made the win happen. He, and Sean Taylor of course, were the most important players in UM’s wins over FSU
I like Durden’s contributions, but I love Rix.

I love it when it finally hits these kids the free lunch is over LOLOL.

Only sad this is they end up at mommies house ask her if she can raise them again and give them an allowance.

Yes if they redshirted.
Rix alos deserves credit in that he lost to UM 5 times in only 4 seasons. Awesome achievement.

As a proud Hurricane who attended UM from 2000-2004 and takes every opportunity to **** on Forfeit State, I am pretty confident Alex Barron holds the record as being 0-6 against Miami (2000-2004; he redshirted plus the Orange Bowl loss is in there). Not sure if anyone else is tied with him, but I remember looking this up a few years ago when a Forfeit State co-worker was talking smack and mentioned his "friend" Alex getting inducted into the Forfeit State HoF and I laughed at any Seminole being inducted into a HoF when he never beat UM.

Amazing. No way this has been duplicated very often in all of college football.
You saw some great ball. I was a freshman in '89 and got to experience that run.

I wonder what Miami’s record would be against FSU the last two decades if Dalvin Cook chooses UM instead of FSU. That choice had monumental ramifications. As someone in another thread pointed out, Golden may still be coaching if Dalvin stayed home.
