Nah. We have 310, 310, and 325 right now in Scott, Blay, and Moten.

Jones is probably 305-310 by now, Simpson is 300+.

We could get by with a 285 type guy. We just need bodies and we need to develop Jones/Simpson to be good enough to contribute before September.

Very hard disagree because I bet you these weight numbers are inaccurate. Yes for our roster Blay and Moten fill the 1t, and Scott is the 3t. But no doubt if we need a rotational DT it needs to be a 1t type that is just a stout run defender. Jones yes is absolutely that 1t fit. But he may not be ready.

Blay, Scott, Simpson, Mesidor and Bain will/can all be 3t types especially the edges moving in on pass downs. The 1t is almost entirely Blay and Moten. A NT that can play 15-20 snaps per game is what we need as DT4 imo.

Sure if we can’t get that yeah bring what we can in. But the most desirable outcome is a NT build

Idk if this guy is the dude we should get, but his build or similar (a definite >310lb guy is what I mean) is what I think we need
