2024 DT Board (2024 Edition) [Mario: This Time Its Personal]

The whales took a dump on Mario and his staff. The experts told us he was a recruiting specialist. Well, he has gotten us to third in the ACC and a 5-7 record on the field. Some coaching gawd I tell you. This would feel like Randy as head coach, but Randy got a number one class-not a top 20 class.

Missed on the big ones Stone, Scott and Franklin.

Not only did we manage to fumble on that but we also allowed Auburn to get Dimitry Nicolas who shouldā€™ve been a take IMO. Thereā€™s no way you can say a guy like Daylen Russell is a take and Nicolas isnā€™t. Nicolas seems like the kinda kid that will probably go on to be an All-SEC DL and we will look back in a few years and say he f***** us when in reality we didnā€™t recruit or push for himā€¦

Agree,maybe we get lucky again and find another Jackson type.

There is no blame for anyone. 2 years ago we would not have even recruited this type of kid. You don't go from that to batting 750 on a position group every team sees as he need every year. We were making steady forward progress which is not the time to make emotional decisions.

You guys expect us to recruit like Alabama after the last 20 years of bull**** on the field. This thing is going to take a few years to change the culture personnel and every other god**** thing that has plagued this program for 20 years.

I know this sounds crazy but all the other college football programs have elite recruiters too yet You expect Mario to win out on every kid he has a conversation with or you consider it failure.

It's honestly frustrating and embarrassing to read. Go Canes!

Honestly, the staff just needs to get Stone. There isn't another choice.

Sorting the Tables

The tables above can't be sorted by columns right now other than the default. However, you can copy the table into the clipboard and sort it yourself in Google Sheets or Excel.

Steps.
  1. Copy table into the clipboard
  2. Paste into Google Sheets
  3. Optionaly hightlight (i.e. bold) the column header (first row)
  4. Under the Data menu, select Sort, then advanced range sorting option
  5. Click on data has header row (i.e. the row you bolded in step 3)
  6. Select the column that will be the primary sort column (i.e. OV date, commit date etc.)
  7. Click on sort
  8. Profit

Time to crank up the 2025 DT board because so far 2024 has been an unmitigated disaster. One bright spot with Artavious Jones and we better hope we keep him.
