It's time. It's Lane Train time. We've had enough aw shucks guys to last two lifetimes. We need a jerk who's gonna win some games. I'd say the immediate list should be:
1. Lane Kiffin
2. Leech
3. Butch (even though they'll never do it)

Some of yall just be talking lane lost again today in conference usa

I kind of think Lane is the perfect OC if you are the AD and you want to force an OC on MR and name a HCiW. 1) He's worked under exceptional HCs like N. Saban & P. Carroll. 2) He's shown the willingness to hire the likes of K. Briles. 3) Being the highest paid OC in CF seems like it would really stroke his ego. 4) He croots big time. 5) He doesnt care if the situation bothers MR and ends his career. 6) Hes only in his 40s and has a lot to still prove.

One thing I like about when Lane OC's is that the best player is gonna eat.

Fired by Riaders for being horrible, fired by USC after scammimg TENN, fired by BAMA;.

and yet our guys want him

WHy do I even come on here? Bunch of low IQ SFL dudes on here who are delusional
I agree I have seen enough of Lane running the show to say no thanks, for some reason fans forgot about everything he did before bama. Bama is bama he should not get credit for that.....thats all Saban.

Hes the ****iest, arrogant, brashest, tweetenest, offensive minded coach in america. People say Briles called plays last year.... well lane has called plays for 1 national title team and had he stayed at bama I believe his playcalling would have trumped what sark did. His in your face bravado matched with south florida speed and swag..... I like the idea

Listen to dude, people. He right.

Hard pass on Kiffin! Short term memory is shot in this place! Kiffin has screwed everything up at every stop! Raiders, USC (remember the tarmac?), Dissed Tennessee! He got reigned in under Saban and now he's relegated to trying to win at FA Frickin U where he had a great season with Kendal on his squad!

I'll take Kendal thank you... FAU can keep that train at the station.

A few things:

1. Did you actually read what you porsted?

2. Lane took a pay cut to be an HC at FAU. Wasn't he just the highest (or one of them) paid coordinator at Bama? So if he took a pay cut to be an actual HC, perhaps that is a sign. "Stroke his ego", he is now the HC of FAU. He already had P5 jobs and an NFL gig. Perhaps he is desperate. Perhaps he is the one that has to stroke someone's ego.

3. As for his offense this year, his offense is ranked (this year)

Scoring Offense: 81st (https://www.teamrankings.com/college-football/stat/points-per-game)
Total Offense: 32nd (https://www.teamrankings.com/college-football/stat/yards-per-game)

4. As for his HC record, he is 28-15 as a P5 HC. He has failed at every HC gig before FAU. Not many HC get so many opportunities and fail at each one. There is a reason "Hes only in his 40s and has a lot to still prove ".

5. How about logic and reasoning?

- He was an OC under Saban and he takes a pay cut to be HC at FAU.
- He goes 11-3 at FAU in year 1 and he chooses to stay at FAU.
- He is now 3-5 at FAU in year 2.

Don't you think there are reasons why he is at FAU?

Why is he regressing so much at FAU?

Why did he go to FAU in the first place?

6. "He croots big time". Do you think we're losing to teams with inferior talent (Pitt, BC and UVA) because of our "croots"? The reason we're under performing and losing to teams with inferior talent is because of our coaching. We need a good coach and not a failure. This doesn't mean, in anyway, that recruiting isn't very important. It just means that we're struggling with teams that have inferior talent. Perhaps we need to focus on getting the right HC.

Well with all things even at least he has a pulse! Father time was done before he got to Miami and we got suckered in extending his contract just to rub it in!!

1. Lame.
2. I think he doesnt like Saban. Saban and him are like water and oil, its why Saban is elite.
3. We'll see where it ends up, but his offenses are historically pretty good.
4. I dont really care about his HC record, I want him as an OC with the title of HCiW. I'd be 100% ready to pull the carrot away at the end.
5. I just think he doesnt like Saban. Saban keeps his leash too tight, probably because he feels like he needs it that way. Regardless of how FAU is doing, Lane is historically a pretty good OC.
6. No. Right... You asked earlier if I read my own "porst." Did you? because the whole thing exists under the premise that the current HC is not being fired, hence hiring him as OC / HCiW.

I dont want to go back and forth on this. Lane is a d*ckhead and I wouldnt really want him as HC, but if the title HCiW is whats needed to undermine our current OC and force him into retirement in 2023, perhaps making Miami's Awfense better, then lets do it. Kiffin was good enough for Saban, so he's good enough for Miami.
