A few things:

1. Did you actually read what you porsted?
2. Lane took a pay cut to be an HC at FAU. Wasn't he just the highest (or one of them) paid coordinator at Bama? So if he took a pay cut to be an actual HC, perhaps that is a sign. "Stroke his ego", he is now the HC of FAU. He already had P5 jobs and an NFL gig. Perhaps he is desperate. Perhaps he is the one that has to stroke someone's ego.
3. As for his offense this year, his offense is ranked (this year)
Scoring Offense: 81st (

Total Offense: 32nd (
https://www.teamrankings.com/college-football/stat/yards-per-game)
4. As for his HC record, he is 28-15 as a P5 HC. He has failed at every HC gig before FAU. Not many HC get so many opportunities and fail at each one. There is a reason "
Hes only in his 40s and has a lot to still prove ".
5. How about logic and reasoning?
- He was an OC under Saban and he takes a pay cut to be HC at FAU.
- He goes 11-3 at FAU in year 1 and he chooses to stay at FAU.
- He is now 3-5 at FAU in year 2.
Don't you think there are reasons why he is at FAU?
Why is he regressing so much at FAU?
Why did he go to FAU in the first place?
6. "He croots big time". Do you think we're losing to teams with inferior talent (Pitt, BC and UVA) because of our "croots"? The reason we're under performing and losing to teams with inferior talent is because of our coaching. We need a good coach and not a failure. This doesn't mean, in anyway, that recruiting isn't very important. It just means that we're struggling with teams that have inferior talent. Perhaps we need to focus on getting the right HC.
