Would take in a heartbeat .
QB2 behind who?If we take him he should be QB2. 14 starts is not enough evidence he can play P4 football.
Rumph is a stepfather figure.
The former Braves center fielder?Andruw Jones' great nephew.
Drew-Druw. Gotta be.The former Braves center fielder?
Ding ding ding. When he looks good it looks great but then again people are still lobbying for Bailey and he looked like **** vs Miami/ND so where’s the difference? These dudes make me nervous. Where’s the P5 comp? At least with Jayden Craig there’s draft grades which eases the comp concerns. Don’t have it hear.
Against The only legit teams he played -
4 TDs 6 picks and below 60% completion.
Those teams? USF and Tulane
Scheme fit he’s perfect. Just what this offense needs. Throws a very catchable ball with good placement . He’d be a nice match with our wr group. Since Jks is staying put I’d go this guy and Raiola . Leavitt and Bailey a tier below. This is who I want as my top choice.
It’s normally just a matter of being overmatched.against more talented teams. Just look at Cam Ward in the NFL. Is he suddenly trash or does he have an awful OL and pieces around him? It’s like when people say “ said coach doesn’t beat Ohio State or really good teams “. Yeah , nobody beats them that’s why they’re really good teams. Evaluating qb is the hardest position to judge because physical matters but there’s a lot more to it. Processing things quickly being the most important. If you place a guy like this in our offense with the surrounding cast he’d eat .These dudes make me nervous. Where’s the P5 comp? Kevin O'Connell has said many times that organizations fail QBs more than QBs fail organizations. It's true in the NFL and also now true in college. There is zero patience for development anymore, even when you look at guys like Josh Allen and even see the jump Caleb Williams made this year. Cam Ward was put into an awful situation—as most highly drafted QBS are—and I hope he gets a good coach and talent around him. It’s normally just a matter of being overmatched.against more talented teams.
