If we do get Mario then keeping Lashlee is a must in my opinion
Why? A big time coach can find better or bring better. To me, RL is way to inconsistent and over reliant.

I think what Lashlee has done with Van Dyke he’s proven to be more than competent imo. HC jobs will come calling. The next HC would be smart to keep most this offensive staff aroundBecause he's a quality OC. He's delivered back to back Top 30 offenses. Not every coach is going to be elite, Lashlee is a Competent OC whose only 38 and is still developing as a play caller. We need to keep him if we get the chance
Actually has a few of these every year...It wasn’t a jinx..he has a loss like this every year
What if you have it backwards, though?I think what Lashlee has done with Van Dyke he’s proven to be more than competent imo. HC jobs will come calling. The next HC would be smart to keep most this offensive staff around
Mario has hired some pretty bad OCs... Marcus Arroyo was worse then Dan Enos. Joe Moorehead was his best OC hire and he's about the same as Lashlee. High end play callers are either HCs or OCs a major programs and won't leave unless it's a HC job. That's why I said if you have a competent OC then you need to keep him. Why? I would say Lashlee is a Top 25 OC in college football and he's only 38, he's still learning and growing as a Coach.I think what Lashlee has done with Van Dyke he’s proven to be more than competent imo. HC jobs will come calling. The next HC would be smart to keep most this offensive staff around
IFLook..I question Mario as the savior around here. Especially with some of the untimely losses..I believe that is due in large part to his offensive stubbornness..if he allows a OC who will identify QB talent and then attack..he could be special
Because it’s not..I watched the first half of UVA..the first half of NC state. Even FSU..9 was shook and flustered. As most young QBs would be..the way he’s responded takes coaching..the fact that he didn’t put Van dyke in a box tells me he can teach..the fact that King and Van Dyke have 2 different skill sets and he still manages to get the most out of them in his system and can adjust as needed says a lot..and lastly the fact we can’t run the ball consistently yet he can still dial up good offensive out put say a lotWhat if you have it backwards, though?
What if it’s really about what Van Dyke has done for Lashlee?
I definitely agree with that..he’s the best OC we’ve had since Jedd fisch imoI

Hopefully he comes back next year.I definitely agree with that..he’s the best OC we’ve had since Jedd fisch imo
Our problem on Defense is some of the personnel. That falls on manny ultimately.IF
Have you learned nothing from being a fan of this program?
IF Mark Richt fired his son and brought in a spread OC. IF Manny Diaz brought in somebody from the outside to run a different defense. IF Al Golden brought in somebody to run a downhill defense.
Coaches that have reached this level don't change who they are (except Saban). This is who Cristobal is. He's not gonna all of a sudden go up-tempo spread because that's not who he is.
