That is a fair position to take. I grew up on PE, NWA, Rakim and then Pac. For me, if a rapper doesnāt have anything interesting or important to say, heās wasting my time.Iām not even a big Drake fan like that, but yall wildinā¦
Brodie got talent for sure, he just for the thots and hoesā¦folks know he just āparty musicā but if you looking for tough bars, punchlines, and stories you aināt listening to him.
Itās a place for everybody, I donāt wanna hear (older) Nas when I wanna party and when Iām in the mood for real hip hop, I aināt throwing on Drake :shrugs:
But there is another generation that views rap like pop music. Itās about the beats and how it makes you feel as opposed to what it says.
