Simpson trying to leverage more money and Schott is 20 hours and 1400 miles from home and doesn't like being at UM.Where is all of this energy for Brock Schott?
Apples to oranges.

A lightly recruited one at that who hasn't even completed one full year yet.NIL dispute over an unproven player. Kids these days…
I'm confused. If Moten cant go next week that pretty much guarantees him some PT. What is he doing?
Isn’t that true for every HS kid?part of the problem with instance like Simpson is that they want to get paid off projections and not actual production...

yes, it isIsn’t that true for every HS kid?
New world full of characters that are yet to be categorized and processed.
These bad agents and “teams” will eventually be removed from the ecosystem. Unfortunately, a few kids will get ****ed along the way.

By playing minimal snaps in seven games? He clearly outplayed his high school ranking and showed a lot of potential at a expensive position.
He clearly flashed his potential. You won't find many Canes' fans who disagree. I'd prefer to have him back even after this development. But do you.By playing minimal snaps in seven games?
He's quitting on the team to leverage more money when he hasn't seen the field since NC State, which was mid November.

Don’t begrudge anybody who is trying to get paid. But, the timing leaves much to be desired. He quit on his teammates.Perhaps an unpopular opinion here but I don't know how you can call negotiating for more money "bad advice". Simpson probably didn't get a bunch of money as a 3-star out of high school. He clearly outplayed his high school ranking and showed a lot of potential at a expensive position.
Why wouldn't he try to use the leverage he has to get himself paid? That is what any one of us would do if we had that opportunity.
I hope he comes back, I think he has a bright future, but we were all talking about adding a veteran body at DT in the portal to replace Blay. If that happens, Simpson is defensive tackle #5.
You won't see me hating on this decision. Get paid if that is what's important to you.
Just curious he got some snaps in rotation… it wasn’t like he was posting double digit pressures a game,Perhaps an unpopular opinion here but I don't know how you can call negotiating for more money "bad advice". I'd prefer not to have a player who quit on his team for his own self interests during a playoff run. But do you.He clearly flashed his potential. You won't find many Canes' fans who disagree. I'd prefer to have him back even after this development. But do you.
He’s honestly the only player who was I think in the two deep. The WRs who’ve left are definitely bottom of the depth and honestly with such a deep pool it’s better for them to get in early and find a home. Ray ray and chance both seemed like true canes at heart wish them the bestI'd prefer not to have a player who quit on his team for his own self interests during a playoff run. But do you.
****, even coaches quit on their teams during playoff runs now, lolI'd prefer not to have a player who quit on his team for his own self interests during a playoff run. But do you.

I know a couple very legitimate agents — both lawyers — who have represented at times many high profile kids. They hate the business because many times they will do tons of work for kids, conduct themselves with integrity when dealing with collectives, only to have a “family member” interfere and fire them after deals were negotiated and promises made. One such early example was Rashada. Everyone from the family and the street are in these guys’ ears. It’s a **** show.We are likely a few years away from the teams being removed. Agents- I could see some teams deciding to not do business with specific agents.
*think*He's not in the 2 deep. Blay, Moten. Scott and Blount.
