You aren't wrong. My guess, and it is a complete guess, is that given how starved teams are for difference-makers at defensive tackle, someone sees the potential and is willing to offer him a much larger pile of money than we are willing to offer him.

The WRs I get ray ray and Chance it’s a flooded market and you wanna get ahead of it.

Simpson didn’t make sense… premium position what’s the rush other than your feelings were hurt you couldn’t get your number right away.

Idk what number he’s looking for but he hasn’t done a lot on the field except show at best right now he’s a rotational DT.
