Golden is still the coach.

But, if you read what USwag has been talking about, a change would likely come from the new President. Apparently the BoT wants to include the new Prez in the process.

Im not gonna jump into Biscayne until the new president comes in and keeps Golden.

Well if Shalala is out this month, a new President has to be around the corner. January at latest?
 
If we had an AD who had any balls and cared about winning, this **** wouldn't matter. Golden would already be headed back north where he belongs.

She is stepping down at the end of the 2014-2015 school year, but a successor will be named prior to President Shalala stepping down from her position at UM. Perhaps the search committee will name a candidate soon, and the next president can be involved in any decision?

They are nowhere close to that being done. I would highly doubt new one is named by Feb 1, let alone by December 31
 
It needs to be done before the bowl game or the recruiting class will start to fall apart. Watch.
 
Is the guy from Carnival Cruise still a frontrunner? Does he like football?

Looks to me like another off season disappointment of Al not leaving. Maybe the third year is the charm....
 
It sorta sounds like logistics being the main problem. The current admin doesn't want to make a new hire on their way out the door.

First as many like to assert, this university is borderline racist so Condi is out. 2nd, if the next president will be included in the decision then accept that Al golden and company will be back for the 2015 season. no way he leaves a job where he can drastically under perform and get paid millions while doing so. He will milk this **** as long as he can. Im sure he knows he will never get another crack at a big time gig again. fat ****!!!
