Don't look now

We'll beat Bethune Cookman but I'm not so sure about FAU. I wonder if we lose to FAU and end up 1-11, will Golden be fired then?

I doubt it. Am not sure this admins is anymore than vaguely aware we still have a football team.

Seriously!

The Canes do have a habit of playing cupcakes early on (Louisville was an exception last year) and build up a pad. Then reality hits and the roof caves in on this coaching staff.

Sept. Games
2009 FSU, GT, VT
2010 OSU, Pitt
2011 OSU, KSU
2012 KSU, GT
2013 FLA
2014 UL, Nebraska, Duke

Nope. Don't see padding here.

:roll-canes2:Duke and Pitt

Miami, Duke, and Pitt are about at the same level right now. Actually, Duke has won the coastal and we haven't.

Lets focus on the pyrite era. September games:

2011:
Maryland (2-10)
Ohio State (6-7)
K State (11-3)
Bethune Cookman (non D1)

2012:
BC (2-10)
K State (11-2)
Bethune Cookman (non D1)
Ga Tech (7-7)

2013:
FAU (6-6)
UF (4-8)
Savannah State (non D1)
USF (2-10)

2014:
UL (9-4)

If I recall correctly, the UL game was added after the 2013 season as Louisville was a late addition to the ACC.

I'll give you Pitt. Duke wound up with a better record and played in a better bowl the year prior than most of those other teams I listed.
