Of course, I'd love for Butch to be hired. But that story just reeks. There's no reason to wait a couple of weeks for an announcement.

I have a feeling this was predicated on Butch taking a huge discount in order to throw tons of money at his staff.

He will make a run at Scott Frost, Ed Orgeron and Tommy Moffit.

Like I said I expected the hate. But I have been reading the forums for years and am aware of the risk I took by posting this news early. The state of the fanbase is horrible. We are fighting and arguing with each other and that is not how it should be. I am not here to troll. I said "within the next week or two". The info I received is that it is going to be announced soon. They are working out the details. As soon as I heard Butch was not in the studio today, I gave the BOT member a call and received more information an hour ago.
