Well guess I'll throw my porst in so I can be part of the legendary (infamous?) thread. Only thing I can think of is that BOT requested staff changes and Golden said no. And the BOT said we'll choose who to fire if you don't (I guessing staffs contracts are separate from Golden's and that's all the leverage they have now) and that's about the time buyout negotiations started. Maybe Golden realized he's fighting a losing battle and is doing what's best for his family. I want to believe it but it doesn't seem likely.

So it wouldn't be surprising that this is so up in the air right now considering he hasn't come out during this and backed Golden, nor have we heard from Golden himself.

But then I remember the incompetence of Blake James and realize that this whole thing really doesn't make any sense at all. If Golden is still here for next season we are going to have to target Blake AND Al as soon as the new President gets on board. Hopefully once he sees this **** show he will be forced into nixing them, like Michigan did
