What the **** is wrong with people in this town. When Al is gone, what half-way decent coach will want to coming here, know that he faces death threats if he doesn't win fast enough. SMDH!

Whoever did that needs to be outed and dealt with properly. That's a sad individual or a group of people and they need to go find a life. If I were Golden I would send my family back home to New Jersey. And stay in Miami just out of spite. The nice paycheck is just a perk.

I highly doubt Butch will ever experience this (besides the banner back in the day, but to his defense, he had over 3X the amount of schollys taken away than Golden) due to the fact that he's a WINNER that doesn't hide behind excuses and delivers amazing results in a competitive, results based business!

this happens a lot of places... and coaches still get hired. As a coach you should want to right the ship immediately and not BEG for handouts. Any coach that asks for time to right the ship doresnt deserve the job.

This. If they haven't come out yet and said "nobody's going to be fired at all" -- and I haven't heard that yet -- there's still stuff happening. And while stuff's happening, all the admin can do is make vaguely reassuring statements.

Exactly. People are crucifying AD James for saying what any other AD would say. He could be working behind the scenes right now, trying to figure out a way to let Golden go. And he is not exactly in the most secure job situation right now.

That being said, don't let that fool you into buying merchandise, game tickets and whatever else to keep letting them know that the fan base is pretty ticked off.

Follow this by telling Al he's fired.

Then wait for Goldens agent to come begging to negotiate a buyout in order for Al to "step down for personal reasons."

Well, if this is gonna happen, then things should really start to heat up today. Someone has to know something and it will get out some how. The silence is fine but if it keeps quiet much longer I would have to guess that AL will be running the show for another year.
 
Wish this was happening, but I'm afraid it's not boys. No late Christmas presents.
 
If anything is gonna happen, we won't hear about it until Sunday now IMO
