I still take it even with a grain of salt as I said earlier in the thread. The University has been spitting in the fans faces for over a month now on the situation.

I'll eat crow if it's wrong but I can't sit here and tell you that "I" personally think it's going to happen 100%, I would be lying to you if I felt this was a done deal. I'm telling you what I was told. As far as I knew a few weeks ago, not even a peep about him getting fired. This is all new.

This. After some soul searching with the fam over Christmas, possible the fat *** and his family decided it's time to throw in the cards. Otherwise, no chance UM fires him now.

Holidays, travel, etc. People in charge never had a chance to have a legit discussion. Unlikely, but a possibility. Besides, have you seen this admin, would it be surprising if they waited to make a decision for some unknown reason?

I'm absolutely positive that Al Golden will be our head coach next year. There's been nothing to say otherwise and getting my hopes up for change this year is a futile effort.
