i don't disagree coleys play calling hasn't been good but he delivered us Kaaya and is a big reason why the kid is developing so nicely just can't see that being let go. the man can recruit.

I agree. I think the players have a good idea something is happening with their coach and for some reason trying to make everything seem great at Miami. I bet Coley gets backed up big time from the players if something happens.

"IF" Butch were to be hired. First assistant I would want on staff is Don Soldinger. Fight me if you want about that. But Don would be a home run on the assistant coaching end. Would get all these backs nfl ready and special teams top notch.

I love Don, he was one of my favorite coaches back in the day and toughened those kids up to make them great, but the RB coach needs to be a heavy recruiter because the position itself is not the most difficult to coach when compared to OL, QB, CB, etc. For that reason, i would stick with Ice if he would remained on staff.

Don was a good recruiter too. Lot of people respect him down here. He would jump in a split second from The Ridge to come back here. Coker screwed him over.

Why would they wait 33 days to fire Golden, let him get out on the recruiting front, run practices and then coach the bowl game only to fire him in January?
