Then they'll replace him with Mario so we can have 3-4 more years of high aspirations and disappointment. Ooh, we win the Coastal and end 2023 ranked 24th. Then as we slowly sink, the powers that be try to rationalize claiming we were just ranked and its only temporary. Pretty soon the 2025 season is done, we fire Mario and start looking for the next bargain basement hire who has Miami connections, pleases the overly sensitive interviewers and leads us to a march back to 24th in the polls.

Fvck that. NOT ONE MORE DIME FROM ME.

i would take mario or stoops over this guy anyday. Mario can pull in top 5 classes year in and year out.

Sorry this season is over and I have Zero Confidence in this school hiring a great Head Coach. Will not be renewing my season tickets unless they hire Urban Meyer

Bull****. How great are our top players right now? Getting better talent isn't the answer. It never has been. Shannon had some great players, how'd that work out? Getting a coach with a losing overall record and expecting undefeated seasons is not rational thinking.

People think this recruiting **** is end all be all, it's important of course. But good coaches get the most out of their players regardless of recruiting rankings.

How many five stars have been busts and how many three stars have been gold? Find the guys that fit your program, not the ones that have nothing but hype.
