Thats a region we have been missing on. Louisiana and Texas we should always have plenty of offers. I see Golden not even paying Jersey no attention so far this year lol. he scared man.
 
I think these offers are UM's attempt to get back at Charlie Strong & UT for taking south Florida kids. Unless it for linemen I don't think UM should be digging into Texas, and even I think Louisiana and Georgia offer better prospects.

Seems like we got a few players out of Texas back in the day. Armstead comes to mind. No reason not to fish out there some.

In the last past we have gotten a bunch of Texas players. Would be nice to get back in Texas

UM has plucked a few gems over the years out of Texas, but that was when UM cherry picked Texas not handing offers like a buffet which is what UM just did. With Baylor, TCU, TAM all rolling and UT set to explode under charlie strong, at this point it will very difficult to pull kids out of Texas.

thats a very good analysis. the emergance of all the little brothers has made it really hard to recruit there. and you can Oklahoma who always get their 3 or 4 from Texas.
 
I remember sneaking into my pops room when he left the house to watch "Debbie does Dallas".

Heard he was spotted at Derrick Griffin's house. We back.

This staff has developed some relationship with the Cowboys so it wouldn't be surprising if they combine "learning" visits to Dallas with recruiting.

I agree with you on the better prospects in Louisiana and Georgia right now. Texas has talent as well but when you have 3 big schools in one state its tough to get their stars out of that state.

I agree with you on the better prospects in Louisiana and Georgia right now. Texas has talent as well but when you have 3 big schools in one state its tough to get their stars out of that state.

We were very strong in Texas until Shannon. Even Coker was strong there. Have to be able to recruit Texas. Old OOS formula was CA, TX, LA, NJ. With right crew that would work again.

When you can't sign the top talent in your own backyard, you may as well go somewhere else and hope those people aren't paying attention to what you've done since you've been here.

Kevin Williams too.


Lance Leggett but he ended up being a bust but he was originally from FL.

Lay off my cousin Geo. Lance wasn't no bust and yeah he's from Bartow he transferred to grace prep after my senior year him and Justin Forsett.
