Donell Harris (New Thread)

[Astcloud11]

The question with him is and you have to set your emotions aside after how his recruitment went:

Do you want Donnell Harris at the expense of either Jabari Ishmael or Thomas Davis?

We have no ICs left and he would need a spot in the 21 class, which is already down 1 for Jarrid Williams and possibly 2 if the Moise rumors are true.

I'd easily take him if it wasn't a scholarship issue. Gotta stack chips. Ishmael or Davis isn't guaranteed to come.

Emotions set aside.

Nope. Kick rocks.

Not to mention we're pretty good in the DE departamento.

Basically my sentiment as well.

Not guaranteed but there’s no reason to think we aren’t going to pull in 2 guys at DE at that talent level (Ishmael and Davis). That 25 hard cap is becoming a real pain in the ***.

I dont think georgia would pay a transfer

Well, one thing we have to keep in mind moving forward during the current state of this country are the “fake woke” kids who suddenly realized they don’t want to play for a school where you are nothing but another N-word to them except on Saturdays between Sept-Dec. I can see a few “Donnell Harris” types hitting the portal throughout the year from these schools in the Deep South.

oh well him and his dad can deal with it

You go to the portal for positions of need..

DE is not a position of need at Miami. And he wasn't a take for Georgia. I could see Florida or FSU

[Jassid82]

Oh I agree. We definitely don’t need him. I would kick the tires if he called us first though but definitely wouldn’t chase and wouldn’t be apart of some big bidding war. But if a kid like this humbly says, “Look I phucked up, I want in. No recruiting drama. If you have a spot for me? Take me back please”. Not sure you could say No if you are Manny. He would have to earn it though. Definitely would have to redshirt this year to show his commitment

@TheOriginalCane can answer this better, but I'm pretty sure we couldn't take him even if we wanted to. We could count Williams toward 21 because he wasn't recruited here. We recruited Harris. I don't care what y'all say though, a future rotation of Harvey, Chantz, and Harris would be nice.

It’s debatable we don’t need two DE’s in 21’, why bring this clown? No need for $ellout drama queen$.

I wonder if Butch would take him at FIU.

Don’t see it anywhere.

Overrated

The 22 class is loaded with pass rushers in South Florida. Pass

Fawk that nikka!!

[DC3]

Would rather keep who we have. Add maybe one more DE this year and focus on the monster ‘22 class

Lol at going from A&M to UGA because of racism.
