Does Wake get in at 11-2?

Im Not No Way GIF

9-3 $EC team gets in ahead of them

You guys are goofy - for one, Wake is not only going to lose two games. Secondly, a lot of the other teams being mentioned - UK, UF, Mizzou, OU, etc. - will lose three or four games and barely be ranked by the end (if at all), much less make the playoffs.

We (and they) don’t even know which quarterback they’re facing on Saturday @ Berkeley.

Context matters; what the other teams finish with and how the best teams they beat, in your scenario: SMU, Louisville, Purdue, GT, Duke, etc. finish.

What if they beat a GT who beats UGA, SMU who beats ND, Louisville beats Kentucky, Purdue beats Indiana, etc. Obviously all those won’t happen however it’s just to illustrate your hypothetical fleshed out still has way too many conditionals to answer, reasonably, still…

Despite the rain of cynicism, just look above at what the first rankings were going into the last week of the season. If Clemson beats South Carolina, and Miami beats Syracuse, no matter what happens in the ACC-CG, the ACC would have gotten three teams in.

Are you insane? After the sure bets of Georgia, Bama, and Texas, the committee needs room for Kentucky, Missouri, TAMU, LSU, and maybe even UF. ND obviously gets an automatic bid, as per contract. Then the Big10 gets two. We'll be lucky to get in ourselves.
lol at Texas they are losing more games

A 2 loss non conference champion will not make it unless it’s Miami. Thats the only way the ACC gets 2.

Edit: and that might be pushing it.
