Think a couple stay for recruiting transition so who else would you keep so I say yea ought of elimination

Dude, there are a thousand posts saying that Mario locks down S Fl and we are guaranteed top 10, classes at minimum. Never seen anyone caveat those statements with "but only if he also has elite recruiters." Mario is supposed to be that good on his own. If you are now saying he needs a staff of elite recruiters, plus a top shelf OC and DC, then I fail to see why UM needs to pay a HC 9 million for that. Might as well get Bill Clark and pay him 1/3 of what Mario would get, use all the rest on staff.

After a handful of years of 9-3, 8-4, 9-3, we’ll get the whole culture thing, Manny left no talent, do you know the situation Mario stepped in to, we don’t do bag games!

One of my favorite young bucks. He got some snaps but not enough balls thrown his way. Mallory I thought played well down the stretch. I would have liked Lashlee to have dialed the TE number more or even put both in. Can’t keep that dude off the field much longer though.
 
Mario has a few former assistants currently looking for a job. Two being, Jeff Popovich (DBs) and Geoff Collins (DC/LB) are out from GT. It wouldn't surprise me if either or both end up on MCs staff.

See no reason as to why we can’t get Belk if we truly made a run at him but 🤷🏾‍♂️.


Or we can call up Jim Leonard and tell him to name his price lol. Long shot and he is probably the next guy at UW but worth a shot. If we are spending this money then might as well swing big.

There’s some drama , he’s not say an Alec Baldwin or anything like that , imo I it’s just better to move on. Nothing crazy , tbh we should move on from most of them. Keeping a bunch of people from a failed staff is never a good idea. Mario could bring him back but if manny had returned I’d bet against it.

Mallory still can’t block for **** but man, no question he started to become who we all hoped he would once he started playing with TVD

And for a change a player starting to turn the corner actually came back instead of leaving to be an UDFA

But Mario clearly isn’t that he needs no help there
 
DVD should be kept only if he's gunna accept off field position imo.
We are dropping bags. We gotta get top of the line guys. But ultimately I'm only super concerned with who the oc and DC are.

Otherwise I really don't get why everyone always wants to keep hella coaches. I mean like if Likens wanted to stay I wouldn't be against it, but I'm not pushing for it either. @Brooklyndee said a while ago that Mario was going to have an ELITE staff if he had come here a couple years ago... Well I can't imagine he has less power to hire a top staff now that we are dropping serious bags AND he has had a lot more success

Being extremely active and an excellent choser is his reputation. You get the best available coordinators you can. That is what the top programs do. Why do you care how much Miami is willing to spend?

Don't care about the money, but typically coaches are usually either good technicians or good recruiters. Very rarely are they both. If Mario covers the recruiting side, then UM can focus on getting the very best technician, even if he happens to be a poor recruiter
