Does anyone even care anymore?

I seriously haven't since the FSU game and it's the first time in forever I can remember being this apathetic. I'm not only an alumnus of the school but both my parents have UM degrees. I sat in the upper level of the OB and watched ECU throttle us in '96 and Cuse do it to us the next year. This used to be my life from August through January and I simply don't care anymore.

Don't get my wrong, I love these kids and will rep this program until they lower me into the ground, but until this university steps up and starts actually giving two ***** about football, it's going to be tough for me feel as deeply as I did. Sorry for the rant :(

Apathy is setting in by the fan base. This is the worst thing that could happen to a program. I for one don't care anymore until Folden is gone.

Im not going to watch tomorrow too busy going to play bball. But I love this team rep the canes until the death of me just not interested in this season anymore

If I didn't care I wouldn't be here. But I understand the feelings exactly. As of right now, I really don't care if we have a game or not, but as usual, I'll probably be up at 5 a.m. tomorrow getting ready to root for the Canes so they can avoid a losing season for the first time since '07.

Don't care what so ever, I'll watch animal planet first.. If administration doesnt care why should I..

Nope don't care, i went to the edge of the cliff watching the Nebraska game. I finally quit caring after the UVA game.

First time in a long time. I told my girl not buy me any miami gear for xmas. I didn't watch VA or Pitt game. Didn't even bother to check the score.

Couple guys at my job are fsu fan. They try to rag on UM. I just hit them with the kanye shrug and laugh. They even said seem like i didnt care any more. I watch each game with expectation would lose somehow. I have never done that, even doing the Shannon era.

My spirit was broken after Louisville. I think that when it actually sunk in that golden was in over his head.

Call me Pollyanna. I keep hoping that the next embarrassing loss will be the tipping point, to show Goldie the unemployment line. I'm still hoping the best for the program, a BIG LOSS. If he's not fired after tomorrow, I'm done for next season.

A wise man (me) once said: you can't care more about your job than the people above you. Similarly, I will stop caring until Goldie's gone, and replaced with a proven competent coach (no less than Butch).

**** YOU AL GOLDEN, FOR KILLING THE U.

Here's how much I care: Rutgers is beating North Carolina like a rented mule in the fourth quarter, 40-7, in the Quick Lane Bowl.

I want to see how Miami's ACC opponents do this year in their bowls.

That will tell me a lot.

I didn't know the date and time for the game until like, Monday. My wife's side of the family are huge Carolina fans. Most of our friends are Carolina fans. My pastor, Carter's friends, neighbors, all Carolina fans. They've been asking me what I think about Saturday, and my blatant lack of enthusiasm miffs every one of them.

Mainly because they know I'm an actual die hard, not the usual casual. I know every players name, where they went to high school, and the such. I've repped UM harder than anyone in the state of South Carolina. I wear Miami gear everywhere, church and all, minus work. Me not being enthused about Miami is like the sun not being hot, but truth is I'm not right now.

The university has done a world of awesomeness for Carter, to an extent I can't quantify, but when I look above, below, past, or around Carter and his experience with UM, I can't help but be utterly and totally devastated with this season in particular. That won't sit well with some on and off these boards, but, it's the truth.

UM football is the third most important thing to me behind the Lord and my family. Apathetic is something I've never been when it comes to the Canes, but it feels like it's happening, and I couldn't feel worse about it.
