Does anyone even care anymore?

I care. I care way too much. It borderline consumes me and any spare thought in my mind and occupies way to much of my time. I understand why so many say they don't care anymore. I try and convince myself that as well. It just ******* hurts so much. It cuts most of us to the bone. We try not to care or attempt to convince ourselves we don't so we don't have to feel the pain. Brutal. ******* brutal. Counseling is around the corner.

I'm not sure if I'm not caring but I do know it's just not the same Canes anymore. I'm going to watch the game tomorrow until I'm so hurt and disappointed I will have to tune it out and turn it off. I'm too old for this sh**. If isn't enjoyable, why do it?

I'm not excited but I care. Ill watch tomorrow and get excited for every great play our players make and want to kill myself every time I see an example of our coaches failing. I liken this situation to purgatory. We aren't off the map yet so we aren't in football ****, even though it feels like it since we know what it like in heaven.

its so bad Dan E ain't delivered the "The More you Know" series for this game...
Sorry. I tried, but half-way through I got so angry I had to stop. It used to be fun. At this point being a fan of this team is a chore. It certainly isn't fun.

Yeup. This **** is sad. Dan I'm 18 man. 18. No 18 should have to live his young years with his team being this bad. Kids at UM trying to tell me last time we were good was when we had jacory Harris. I'm too young to even compare my hopelessness to a throwback book or movie.

We all care, probably too much. Most of us read these boards daily or weekly. I can't stop being a fan. It's just not who I am. I do feel bad for Hurricane Glory, never having seen those nasty 80's and 90's teams. I could never ever root for Oregon or any other school.

Yeah I obviously still care a lot I'm on this website too much for my health but it's just so frustrating going into next season with negative hope.

I'm so sorry for you man. If that is the best Miami team you remember watching, you've missed out. I'll admit there was some big excitement in the first half of the season in JH Sophomore year, but even then we weren't that good. There was some talent, but we were very young and the talent never lived up to the expectations.

It's amazing that you are even a Miami fan. You were like 5 the last time we were really good.

Testament to the brand.

im not watching the game, would take a miracle for me to watch anymore as long as golden is still here

what more could you ask?

Of course I care. Everyone on this board does or they wouldn't be posting here. I'm just not invested emotionally to the level I used to be. If the Canes win a game, great, if not, whatever. The Pitt game was the first time I've ever actually laughed at the Canes and how bad they looked. It was comical and I wasn't the least bit upset.

Like DHucks I live in South Carolina, and my enthusiasm for CANES football is down. My Carolina fan friends want to meet up to watch the game at a local chicken joint, and I dont even really want to go. They try to trash talk me just like the people at work do, and I just shrug it off anymore. They tell me it's not fun for them to **** with me about the CANES anymore, and can't believe that I don't think the CANES have a chance to win.

It's so ******* depressing being a CANES fan anymore, especially after watching The U Part 2 documentary. I will always rep the CANES as I have been a fan since 1980, but this **** is ridiculous right now.

Sigh............

I'm right with you man. It's really the theater of the absurd out there at times, you can't help but laugh.
