We are the last team Clemson wants to face in the ACC Championship game. Of course, we want to play them. You beat Clemson you play in the Orange Bowl probably against a Pedo State or even a possible U of Felons rematch. You lose and you were supposed to lose anyway. It's a great measuring stick.

If we play our best, we can beat them and at minimum put up a respectable game , which will do wonders for recruiting.

If we do not win the Coastal-then the expectation is to win our bowl game to save the recruiting class.

All this is assuming we win out which is not a given.

My thoughts are that some people are too soft to accept difficult challenges, especially when the odds are stacked against them. That's why 99% of society takes the path of least resistance.

Our goal should be to play Clemson, no matter what the outcome is going to be.

Yup. If we are scared to play clemson then we might as well never try to make the playoffs. Any time any where. Football is a crazy game and anything can happen.

Like I said about the population being soft...........

So you think losing to three piece of **** schools warrants a division championship?

Who are you calling soft again?

Hey guysms let’s hope all these other teams lose to specific other teams and then we are champs guysms!!!

**** that. Win out. Win the bowl game

We probably get a good big12 team if we do that. Build from there

What we need to happen to make it to the ACCCG

- UNC to lose one more game. They face Pitt and NCST. The latter is an automatic W, I'd say they also beat pitt.
- Pitt to lose one more game. Faces UNC, VT and BC. Guaranteed to lose one of those games.
- Virginia to lose one more game. Faces GT and VT. Beats GT and is a toss up in the VT game. That series is always unpredictable.
- VT to lose TWO more games. Faces Wake, Pitt, GT, and UVA. They will lose against Wake this week. If they beat Pitt and GT, and UVA beats GT, we are out no matter the outcome.

Translation -- NO ACCCG. We in fact probably finish 4th.

Let's all thank N'Kosi for losing us the GT game and our shot at playing big boy football in December!

there is no path to out right winning the costal.
It’s a lot more simple than that.

We need pitt, uva and vt with at least 3 losses
in conference. And pray we get the tie breaker.

extremely unlikely. Looking at it since 2014.The winner of the coastal has never had more than 2 losses in conference. Only once has there been 2- 3 loss (in conference) teams. that will most likely change this year as uva, pit, UnC, Miami, VaTech are all right there. It’s hard to see us getting in without complete bedlam.

Are you saying if UNC and VT end the year with 3 losses we win the coastal? We lost to both those teams.

The winner of the division deserves to be in the ACCCG. If that is us with three losses, then yes, a team with three losses deserves to be in the ACCCG.

You. It was you I was calling soft, since you're afraid to get beat.

We already got beat four times Einstein. We aren’t playing in an acccg nor do we deserve to. There is nothing soft about math.

Not in conference we haven't. FYI, the ACC standings only refer to ACC games. Glad I could help.

So in years when a division winner has three conference losses, they just forfeit the game to the other division winner?

“ Perhaps the most realistic scenario would be Pittsburgh beating North Carolina and Virginia Tech, and Virginia Tech losing to Wake Forest but beating Virginia. That would tick all the boxes and seems realistic. If that were to happen and the Canes beat Louisville and Duke, they win a 3-team tiebreaker over Pitt and Virginia. You want a cold does of reality? There is a 0.496% chance of that "realistic" scenario happening according to ESPN's FPI.”

/ It was over after GT

// we need to win out and beat the **** out of whatever big12 or sec we get matched up against. That’s the most realistic scenario

Now you're changing your story. Before, we didn't "deserve" to be there because of three bad losses. Glad you saw your error.
