This isn't so much on Sumlin as it is a testament to Saban.

A lot of people forget that most of the big names that the Aggies had (Manziel, Evans, Matthews, etc) weren't even his recruits. They were players that we recruited by Sherman. What you are seeing are a bunch of new players that are young and inexperienced - and, they aren't as good as the before mentioned players - which is why they didnt start last year. Bama is stronger now, but still not as good as they have been. Aggies are simply paying their dues right now. Sumlin actually took over a solid offensive team--- but just not as good defensively....It happens at every program.

All these air raid cats simply can't field defenses. Briles got embarrassed today as well. Run the ball n play defense: still the key to champion football teams.

This thread is going to reappear again this season except the name Sumlin will be changed to Mullen and Freeze.
