I think bama will get a pass after their “gutsy” iron bowl win last week…unless it’s 30/40-0 I do not see bama dropping out

stop reading this scenario under the Miami Hurricanes canopy. Take a trip into the minds of the CFP committee. They are not blind, dumb or deaf. They have heard the national campaign of Miami over ND due to head to head. They know this is not a battle they can win. Unless, they find a way to move ND up in front of Bama…ladies and gentlemen- we give you the SEC championship game and a Bama loss. Tomorrow, they will say - “we never really compared or considered Miami and ND cause they were separated by Alabama” This will give them the EXACT 2 teams they want.
 
Bama getting blown out at the end of the season by a team they already beat does not show improvement.
It also makes the loss to fsu more significant. And it also puts them at 3 losses.

But this isn’t about logic. And it also isn’t about following the criteria that they themselves laid out.

This is about getting the teams they want in.
We have less room for error than any other team in cfb and this proves it. We were never supposed to have it be a discussion about us.

The committee gives 0.000 fcks about social media and Nick Saban criticizing them. They have their agenda and the money that comes with it.

I would say this - the committee would send a powerfully bad message if they put in a Bama team as a top 10 team that just got blown out.

Are you really going to put in a team that is clearly that inferior?
