have 100% control of run game coordination

based on interviews with Dawson, and sideline behavior, im thinking yes

Duo, the FB set, the T formation, all that, I believe is 100% Mirabal (mario), and im thinking Dawson doesnt have much of a say in that dept

I personally dont believe so just for the simple fact if you watch tape of Dawson's offenses at Houston the running plays dont look that much drastically different than what we've seen here. Here watch

 
Comparing apples and oranges AGAIN with the Houston/Miami comparison. I seriously doubt Houston has/had the talent Miami has/had so Dawson may have had to call plays based on the talent he had at the time.
 
This is Dawson's third year here. He's an older, established guy that has been around and can easily find a job elsewhere. The idea that Mario/Mirabal are stepping on his toes to the degree suggested on this board as it relates to the run game strains credulity. Otherwise, he'd be gone. Because no one wants someone looking over their shoulder the way folks on this board are suggesting.

i believe he said himself that AM schemes the run game

Regardless of that the run plays still look mostly the same as when he was at Houston so I would say Mario & mirabol aren't controlling the run game entirely

I’ve watched every game Mario has coached at Miami. The camera pans to the HC several times a game and never once have I seen Mario speaking into his headset. That’s not to say he doesn’t have a say into the game plan on offense or defense for that matter but I seriously doubt he’s calling any plays during the game.

mario makes the override decisions if need be but he lets his coordinators handle play calling. Mirabal is the run game coordinator and its his playbook (with obvious input from his boy mario).

I have no doubt Mario has a say in the overall game plan but I seriously doubt he’s calling plays on game day as some morons have suggested. Whatever the case, it obviously ain’t working and someone needs to step up and change things.

he isnt calling plays. he just overrides if he needs to.

mirabal does the run game. its his playbook and scheme not dawsons.

mario prefers this run scheme overall. its very safe in that you dont leave yourself exposed to loss yardage. it also doesnt allow for big runs either.

lyles house call was on the outside last year vs USF i believe.

marions reverse against FSU was on the outside.

with cam, it worked out because the defenses cant key in on the run game with him back there. with Beck, they know hes not cam and he cant extend plays. he also doesnt have a big arm. there is a limit to his skill set. cam also changed calls at the line based on the defense he sees. beck isnt doing that.
