One game doesn’t have an effect on recruiting at all
You may not like this, but because of the carnage everywhere else, even if Notre Dame loses to USC by the end of the season, they will just finish nine and three and yes, they will be ranked in the top 25 because Notre Dame, you knowIf ND doesn't beat USC, we literally aren't going to have any ranked wins at the end of the year. And if we aren't even in the ACC CG, we're ****ed in that situation.
It might if you’re a RB watching this garbage …One game has next to zero impact on recruiting.
Imagine going 11-1 and not playing in the ACCCG AND then missing the playoffs bc of that lol no shot 3 ACC teams get in
I was told last night in the game thread that the mighty midget was in charge of calling the running game…..so is it Dawson or is it Marybelle…..I always thought that Dawson was calling the running plays but guys with more knowledge than me ( which isn’t saying much) said it was the Midget….if the Midget is calling plays then this A and B gap stuff makes since cause he has the same mentality as Mario in that that his fantastic line can move anyone off the LOS and it’s not necessary to run anything but those dive plays and then there is the fact Mario has watched this garbage for a few years now through different OC’s and hasn’t made any attempt to get it changed..Dawson runs that dive play just to say he tried running it. Our offense is abysmal and Dawson should not be our OC next year. It is dumb to recruit elite OL if we have this type of offense. We’ve said it plenty of times.
Surely you don’t believe Mario Golden is going 11-1
This is who we are in terms of run game since Dawson been here. Maybe even the Gattis season (I’ve erased it from memory). It’s not going to change. It’s the philosophy. I hate it. It worked better last year because we had a guy who could go off script, had the arm talent to make teams pay and changed tons of plays. At best we’re going to get some more outside runs. @DMoney said he thought it would be this week. We started running outta the pistol last year that gave us more momentum than the option that cam (and now Beck) are rarely ever going to take (as I think you have noted previously). And we went to it once last night from memory. If we’re lucky we get those type of changes.Lmao at @DMoney still defending this run game smfh. Yeah the blame is also on the penalties getting us behind the sticks, but when your entire run game is based on hopefully picking up 4yards AND NOTHING MORE, you **** yourself with that style of play. This run game is literally designed to kill ourselves. Period. And it puts a **** load of pressure on the pass game and a QB nobody should expect to be much more than a game manager who hits some deep shots every handful of times. The scheme doesn't ******* work. Just say that ffs.
Like I *****ed about all last year ask why the **** we have such narrow splits. Even if we ran right up the ******* middle every run play if we had wider splits maybe there'd be a hole a RB could run through!!!! Holy **** man.
Only if this is the scenario bc it would be so MiamisSurely you don’t believe Mario Golden is going 11-1
The most annoying thing is that I literally think it doesn't even work to our Olines strength. If you honestly believe you have one of the best Olines in the country and believe in straight bully ball, And have a good QB what logic is there to not spread **** out and FORCE defense to make tougher decisions. If we believe we have better guys across the board you should put them in a position to beat their opposition 1on1. The dogpile doesn't even give them that opportunityWe are wasting talent with this offensive mindset. It’s not creative and nor does it put the players in position to succeed. It doesn’t know how to use speed and only emphasizes imposing your will and physicality. Good coaching puts emphasis on both and knows how to use both.
Nah, he will defend the direction of the program, he will say the future is bright and Mario is the right guy!All I want @DMoney to do is go on the pod tomorrow and say our Run Scheme isn't working, and it was dumb to think the idea of "just not losing yards" was ever good or going to win us games this year that we otherwise wouldn't win anyways.
Do we need Kirk to call us out again??... I've been *****ing about that since before last season man.
LmaoMoore dropped that third down pass that was picked off and was nullified by the roughing the passer. Probably a reason we don’t see him.
He on Miami’s payroll so don’t expect to hear him be critical of the teamLmao at @DMoney still defending this run game smfh.
