DMoney, do the coaches recognize the one weakness so far?

DBs getting caught looking in the backfield. It's not just the QB breaking contain but also at least a couple of times in the pocket. Cannot be perfect and cannot stop everything but this seems like something they have to contain.

1. Thomas in ND game which almost cost us game in 4th quarter
2. 2-3 times against BCC
3. Poyser on slow mesh against USF
4. Damari on broken rollout against USF

DBs peeping at eye candy in the backfield is a common issue at pretty much all levels of football. This is nothing new, and it has happened a couple of times this year.

If the defensive coaches aren’t reviewing the videos and engaging our DBs in a critique, we may as well not have coaches. What I’m saying is, there is literally zero chance that this has not been reviewed discussed and coached since it happened.

Hopefully the coaching takes.

In my experience, when coaches review film, they usually ignore the most explosive plays from the opponent and focus more on what you did well. That way, you don't hurt anyone's feelings trying to overcorrect things. Some things are bigger than sports.

LOL…this

Those explosives are also outliers, so no need to worry about them.

Poyser is more of a box S and that's why you're seeing Fitz more and more. Demari made a dumb mistake and Brown can make those kind of plays. Still a unit that's new to each other and this D. Not worried at all.

As a long, long time Canes fan, there have been times under previous staffs where this appeared to be the policy lol...

You could say that about some CIS porsters.
