Not the same position or body type. Jackson was more of a nose guard in OU’s defense while Stone was the traditional tackle. OU had proven starters at tackle and had no depth at the nose guard position which allowed Jackson an easier path to start. OU was projecting Stone as a starter/heavy contributor but he elected for the portal.

Saying all that I still take stone in a heartbeat cause of potential and the lack of DT depth in the portal and team need
