I agree with you. Strong trenches on both sides would be key to our upcoming season. We will not be as explosive on offense this year, so you gotta try to be elite in other areas. 2 deep at DT would be Stone, Scott, Blay, and Moten.

You’re exactly right we have to be elite somewhere, so with a QB that is more so a “game manager” oline that can protect him and weapons that can get busy after the catch so he doesn’t have to hold the ball as long, mixed with a strong running game, secondary should be bette. Make the Dline stout with a pick up like stone, and you have a chance to beat anyone

Watson is the run stopper we need. I would start him against ND if he came here. He is my choice for our need. I can see Watson and Haulcy at S against ND and I am feeling much better about our middle. If the staff doesn't see that need and want Stone as a 4th DT, I am good with that also. Stone has elite traits. I don't think you can go wrong with either.
