Its all about maximizing that talent.

Not a single player on this list is put in a position to maximize their talent in this defense. Square peg, round hole.

Holliman for UL had 14 INTs himself. He would have had less then 3 if he came here.

He might not have had any. All teams game plans vs UM should be run it right down their throat, they cant stop it
 
Terrible. Freakin Hollimon had twice as many ints than UM secondary with one 5 star and five 4 stars along with a projected 3/4 round draft pick

I didn't include the 3* or less, just wanted to highlight the guys that could have gone pretty much anywhere.

Kamalu had 3.5 sacks and Wyche had 0.5 to make it 8.

And I included McCord and Harris as DL even though they are hybrid guys in this scheme.

Gunter had 2 INTs to make it 6 by the DBs.
 
I just want some kind of information behind why the **** tracy howard didnt play much at all this year. The guy looked last year like he was about to be the shut down corner we all thought we were getting when he signed.. and then we have to watch burns get beat by mediocre recievers, him miss tackles, and get called for pass interference everytime the ball is thrown his way because he isnt taught a good enough technique by the coaching staff to trust his own ability.

Its not, vs FBS only (which should be the only thing that matters) its 25th in total defense and 53rd in scoring defense.

The fact that Golden is going to say top 15 is insulting.
 
Only this staff would find a way to misuse all of this talent.

Howard was a force in high school and became the top CB because he played press coverage and didn't give receivers any room to breathe. Enough of the morons here claiming he's overrated because he's not a blazer. He's been misused. Period.

They've already wasted a year of Chad Thomas. LULZ at the idea he would have 10 sacks this season. Not in this scheme under this staff. Myles Garrett (11 sacks) and Lorenzo Carter (3.5 sacks) were his peers in this past recruiting class and have all made impacts. Chad is just as good, if not better than both (especially Carter). What a joke.

It's because they are taught to engage the blocker, watching our guys rush the passer is awful, it's as if they want to be blocked. No swim moves, no quick moves in side. Occasionally we run a twist or stunt but that's the extent of it.
 
Further proof Dorito should win the Broyles award, surprised it didn't make Letterman's lit of 10.

what were the sack and INT stats in Randy's last year? they could not have been that bad.

This institutional racism thing is going to build and build if they keep him around.
