And Georgia wasn’t number one when they lost to them either. ND should shut the **** up. They barely hung on at home to Navy last week. We took their soul.

Weird part is it’s not like we just beat them with speed.

We overpowered them, outworked them, we were too fast, too strong, and more talented.

But don’t let that upset those all important preseason lists.

Great point. A lot of these national talking heads made it seem like we are this smallish yet really fast defense which is not accurate. Our D has plenty of size at many positions. The difference is that we combine good size and strength with insane speed, explosion and freakish athleticism. Add a downhill attacking scheme with excellent coaching and you get what Notre Dame's much ballyhooed offensive line did.
