That tells me Southridge can't coach or develop their players. IMO SoFLA kids as a whole have tons of raw talent but consistently lack fundamentals, the exception being our powerhouse private programs, I remember Urban in an interview saying he preferred recruiting heavier in Texas, Ohio, and Georgia cuz those states high schools produce more polished kids.

Does "lacking fundamentals" mean that So Fla kids aren't being taught fundamentals (like blocking and tackling) by HS coaches, or are unable to understand/execute the concepts being taught?

Urban was alluding to the high school coaches here not teaching the kids well vs the schools in more well funded states like Texas, Ohio, and Georgia. The issue becomes compounded when a raw local talent plays at Miami with subpar college coaching too.
