The plan since last winter was for him to have the shoulder surgery he needs after this season. I expect he will finally have it as planned, but he still has other injuries that need to heal. If he can get a medical redshirt for this season, that would be ideal.

I agree, he also hasn’t played a lot of football. He needs to be rebuilt from the ground up.

He also needs to lose some of that bad weight ! He is too big to be considered a mobile quarterback. This has been the cause of alot of his injuries.

DJ obviously has good traits but pass. Too much risk and too much injury history.
