I'm sure he's considering transferring. Heard it from multiple people, and it typically happens to big name OOS kids who don't really play.

Hopefully he gets through it. DJ Williams was from Sacramento and considered transferring. He lives here now.

DJ not going anywhere...he's about to make a lot of money for himself based on what he does next season.
 
This would be a massive loss at a position where we’re already thin.

Richt needs to pull out all the stops to ensure he stays.

I wonder if the reality of losing up to 6 defensive lineman this year if everything goes a certain way and having only one project signed and one DT committed is going to set in at some point.

It won’t matter how good the secondary is if the line is in shambles.

If DMoney says he’s heard from people within the program, then that’s what I’m trying to get at. Not a bunch of guys guessing from their couches. There’s a difference. Which is why I’m here. See, that’s how it works.

This kid should be focusing on getting bigger and stronger to get in the DT/DE rotation....Miami can't afford to lose this type of talent.... especially since DT recruiting has been terrible...

Richt ,Kool and Diaz somehow need to convince DJ and one of Norton to come back next season.If we lose Mc,Norton,Moten,Chad,Harris and DJ,we are going to take a huge step back on defense next year.Even with all that talent our defense got worked in a few games this past season,It will get ugly replacing all these guys.
 
Not sure why people on this site keep trying to put this kid at DT. He doesn’t look anything like any of our DTs. He is clearly a DE given his size / speed combination. He might not be as good as the other DEs - that remains to be seen, but if his only option is to move to DT, then I can’t say I’d blame him for considering other options.
