Since we've had a negative thread started about him after every game so far, I figured he deserves a positive one as well.

Played well last night. Let's hope it's just the beginning of him finally playing in games how he has practiced for many years...

He is a different guy when you let him get physical with the receiver consistently. It’s mind boggling how we kept trying to have him play like a quick cover guy.

Carolina offense is legit.. 5 star qb looks real deal and for some reason they can find wr with ease to execute their system.. oh and their young rb look good too.. BIG challenge for defense in a few weeks.. Offense failed their first real test.. Lets see how Defense looks against real O

Best game of his life. I pray we can get even 80% of that during ACC play but he will see much better passing attacks obviously. Hope we can pound the rock and keep Maye off the field but thats a topic for another day. Holding my breath but still very good to see Ivey step up.

Yeah I don’t like our chances in a shootout with them so we are going to need to limit their plays on offense

They look pretty bad on defense so it’s definitely one of those style matchups

Ivey played great, as well as most of the secondary. I really hope it had more to do with them getting better, than zero threat of them having to turn around and run. The game is much easier when everything happens in front of you.

Me too. I wrote him off after the G-Tech fake punt, and then again many times to follow. But in a more physical game he was better. Less thought, more reaction. My worry is whether ACC refs will let play as physical on the outside in conference play. One good thing about SEC play is teams are allowed to play more physical (JWill's 15 yard penalty notwithstanding).
