Why do people want him at RB?

He's not a RB at all. He's a guy who should be used everywhere on the field

RB, slot, PR, etc

Luckily we have 2 RBs coming next year

Hopefully, he catches well enough to become the punt returner next year. He’s shifty and has size.

He’s also a great option as the 3rd down back.

I think Homer and Lingard can handle the primary RB spot.

This will be the deepest backfield we have had in years with Miami level talent

He actually surprised me with his RB skills. I think he has an element of patience to his running style that we have been lacking the last few years. I think he will stay at RB and he can be used in the slot at time, but like a few above mentioned he earned a spot on the field.

He plays hard on special teams too. I bet he will be a workout champ and a great leader making people work harder in the off season. You win big if you have enough kids like this one your roster.

He would make a good slot receiver. He'd be deadly on jet sweeps from the slot position, but that's if Richt ever calls it.....

Don’t use at RB, but use him at running back? At QB He can pretend to fake the ball, thus faking the fake

I sure hope he doesn't end up one if this guys we end up wondering how good he could have been or why we wasted him. We need to get creative and get the ball in his hands in a variety of ways. Perfect player for that role.

He creates unique matchup problems at RB. Even the best receiving RBs don't have the ball skills that he had. He can go up and get it.

He is a great back for certain situations but IMO hes not a great featured back. We want him playing sort of the role duke plays for the browns imo.

It seems to me that if you line up in the backfield near the quarterback a little bit every game, you are considered a running back regardless of how many times you split out wide or take direct snaps. It doesn't matter what anyone calls him, we all (I hope) recognize he's an all-purpose player.

I’m very impressed with Dallas as a playmaker. The question is why did Richt wait so long to use this kid regularly in our offense? Hmmm, another questionable decision by Richt.

You think they'll move him to WR or keep at RB?

RB, PR, QB. We will design around his skill set.

while I certainly enjoy your post and you are much more knowledgeable about football than 99% of this board.................. do you really think Richt has the forward thinking to design plays around him after seeing the same 8 formations all year. I really like the one when Homer lines up in the pistol and then shifts to the left side of the QB and the next play we trick them by having him shift to the right side of the QB. Sorry but just don't see Richt joining the 21 century of football play calling and designing ..

Yep. I will stop b1tching and complaining about depth at the position like I was this year.
