How about:

Banda coaching the secondary. It’s odd that we have separate CB and S coaches.
Replace Patke with a top LB/recruiting coach. Eg Micheal Barrow (have no idea what happened him post Seahawks)
Hire a top special teams/recruiting guy. Don’t have a name.

Goal: turbo charge our defense, special teams and recruiting efforts with two top hires.

Starting a Rid Us of Rumph thread when Patke is there is ridiculous. Prioritize it.

Problem is that Patke is in a role where you’re gonna elevate somebody you already have. Assistant outside linebackers coach isn’t a glamorous position. The only way it becomes a coaching spot we need to seek outside candidates for is if it turns into LB coach instead of what it is.

Possibly but I believe we’ll have to increase the budget a bit. It’ll allow us to move up DVD to a coaching role on ST though.
