QB Jalen Milroe - A bit shocked but I guess as of right now he’s believed to be the only viable candidate

RB Thad Franklin - Expected

WR Mello Brinson - A lot of reason to believe this is going to happen especially with the O probably taking off this year.

WR Jacolby George - expected

WR Yulkieth Brown - Confused here. I don’t think the staff values him this much to use a spot on him without missing on Brashard.

WR Brashard Smith - Hence the confusion with Yul. So they take a 4th guy even though they got who they want? Unlikely especially being that we could use that way more spot at CB, End, or even OT.

TE Elijah Arroyo - Expected

TE Khalil Brantley - Expected

OT Michael McLaughlin - Expected

OL Laurence Seymour - Expected

OL Ryan Rodriguez - Expected

DE Jabari Ishmael - expected

DT Savion Collins - expected

DT Allen Haye - Expected

DT Leonard Taylor - Well that’s a surprise. I can see it but an 10 - 12 win season needs to happen (probably will) and he really needs to want to play early.

LB Jacorey Hammett - Expected

LB Tyler Johnson - Expected

LB DeShawn Troutman - Expected

CB Tim Burns - Expected

CB Malik Curtis - Expected

Sidebar: That CB class is a fireable offense. Not only is there no 3rd corner but you couldn’t find better prospects to offer? Not even Davion Sistrunk? Get Rumph out my face with this class.

DB - Kam Kitchens - Another one I believe is gonna end up going the good guys way especially with Banda being a decent developer.

ATH James Williams - A surprise but the same thing I said about Leonard Taylor applies. Question would be where would you play him which ideally would be striker because of his size but he could be a box safety and still be a first rounder. He’ll be one anywhere other than pass rusher and that’s only because we haven’t seen him with his hand in the dirt

ATH- Chase Smith - At least somebody is giving him some love. Put him at WR, LB, or safety and you’re probably getting the same result.

K Andy Borregales- Expected

Good enough to be a top ten class.

Thoughts: Great class other than the CB haul sucks ***. I want Thomas Davis here, probably over Ishmael but they’ll probably go with Jabari. I would probably move on from Tyler Johnson with Chase and James being in the class and use that spot somewhere else if the WR class ends up being like that. Cb class though is absolutely garbage, trash, s**t, atrocious, a travesty, criminally negligent, eww, etc. Rumph needs a pink slip for that.

CB class is rough. I like those two guys but they’re both redshirt guys 100% for different reasons. It’s a bad class.

Need another OT. Numbers numbers numbers at that spot. We don’t know if rivers is a tackle or guard yet and walker can’t be trusted until I see him on the field.

Smith is a WR/RB combo guy. He’s like the fourth receiver and second RB all in one.

Hold-up, we bashing Rumph now based on a random reporter's mock class? That is like my wife getting ****ed at me for something my *** did to her in her dream lol
No, I’m bashing him IF that ends up being the class. Don’t know how that can be perceived any different.

Also I don’t believe we actually land Milroe. Just not seeing it. And James Williams and Leonard Taylor are pipe dreams

FWIW, I read some stuff last night on other boards and there was talk that there is a ripple that Williams and UGA may not be so in love any more. No idea how accurate , etc. but it was said.

Maybe Williams is the Avantae Williams of 21 class...

Like I said though with Williams and Taylor, win 10 - 12 and it probably different. James did put us in his top 4 and Leonard put us in his top 5 plus he wants to play early which we can offer. Milroe though I agree with. I have much more faith in Garcia decommitting and coming here since it feels like he would’ve committed here if Bryce Young would’ve stayed with USC.

I agree with pretty much all of your analysis.

I would like to understand more about the "dream" at QB and CB (and maybe even at LB). What I mean is that if this is the "dream", then why aren't we looking at higher-ranked prospects who fit our system?

Realistic dream? OK, maybe, but if you're going to dream, they should tell us who we should want, and then we spend the next 6-8 months building towards that. I definitely think that a few QB prospects will be available later, due to team-flops/coaching-changes. But "the dream" at CB and LB should be about our scheme, what we need, and who fits best.

Good commentary, z.

We are so traumatized by local blue chip kids that some think it’s more likely that we land a qb from Texas that’s committed to Texas whose social media is full of longhorn **** than a kid who goes to high school 15 minutes from campus.

But there’s nothing dreamy about that corner back class.

Oh it’s a dream alright. A nightmare is still a dream...

I know we’re extremely pessimistic on this board due to trauma and I understand it. But even if the chances are slim milroe is more realistic than people think. His dad is a smart guy and he pays attention to situations and Miami’s is better than Texas as far as what he’s looking for in regards to helping his son choose
