Dionte Mullins

I'm pretty sure he is too old to play his senior year. If it was grades for college, he still has a full year to fix it. He wouldn't really know the end result until next summer.

Although I'm not going to lie the tweet does sound like he's talking about who he gets to play for at the next level.

Mullins can attend prep school then come back to Miami as part of the 2017 class. An hopefully UM can replace Mullins with Pie young or swain.

Go Canes

This would be my hope. The tweet (which was deleted), sounded like he can't get into UM and that it's killing him that he just found out. /shrug

Ya I know once I read that one I was like, oh ****, that is no bueno. My only question is how would he know he can't qualify so early. I mean you can literally do two years of school in one. Can he really be that bad off, that there's no coming back?

Ya there;s definitely other receivers out there. Minus Pie, he ain't coming lol. This still hurts though, if anything because he was such a pro cane recruit.

**** this could reopen the door for D. snelson to come back into UM's 2016 class if he gets his head right as they say.

If it's grades then I wish the kid gets focused on what really matters. Wish they could enforce a rule requiring the same amount of study time as football activities for HS players. These kids getting totally blinded to getting recruited over academics.

Can't remember who, but someone on Shadow's board posted a while back to not get your hopes up on this kid. Basically said there's no way he makes it in.

And that was months ago,he seemed close to the situation too.

So this cat is hinting that he may not be able to make it in to college for grades on the first day of his senior year of high school? He pretty much has a whole calendar year to fix that. If Choc can do it, so can he. Tweet has to be for something else. Mullins has already proved he likes to make vague tweets to troll our fanbase a little.

If grades is the issue, he has an entire year plus he can take night classes to make up prior classes. It's all in the mind and how hard you want to work. Hopefully this kid has a Father who can get his *** in order and focused on what's important...

If he is in fact out due to academics, perhaps its time keeper of three kings puts down the twitter and helps her kid hit the books and get into college. High school is insultingly easy, if you are ineligible it is hard to feel sorry for you because you had to try to fail.

i read that he's below a 2.0 and it's not looking good. Prep school might not work out for him, he may have to go to JUCO
