Now that the emotions have calmed, I had to sit back and really take in that we are really 6-0. I know we were 6-0 in 2013, but this time it feels different. Maybe it's because we now have a proven winning coach vs. a guy who's claim to fame was a 9 win Temple team.

I mentioned in the game discussion forum that this team have been frustrating to watch. At that point, I was too involved in the game. On paper, we should've manhandled our last 3 opponents, yet all 3 games have been nail biters, dramatic finishes, the "hold your breath" moments. It has been frustrating to see....BUT, what would've been the results just two years ago? Instead of being 6-0, most likely we would be 3-3.

We had a different culture here; when we faced adversity, any push back: we folded, we gave up, and the players had 0 leadership to look to from their coaches.

Richt has done the exact opposite, and he's built a staff that follows his lead. Yes, they still make silly, untimely mistakes, but b/c Richt has now created a winning culture here, the kids don't give up. Instead of gasping for air in the latter stages of the 4th like most teams, they get new wind. The tougher the moment, the more they thrive, and THAT'S the make up of a championship caliber team.

The media can call us fake all they want, they can scoff at our 6-0 record; but the fact is, a lot of folks called for upsets the last two weeks...it didn't happen. The fact is, when adversity hit Clemson, against this same Cuse team we beat, they folded.

After 13 miserable years, our Canes are winning. It's not pretty, BUT we are winning. It's our 1st time being 4-0 in conference play, as well. The arrow is pointing up, and as long as that winning culture is instilled in that locker room, sky is the limit moving forward.

Yes. This team is refusing to lose. That's old school Miami football. Even the 2001 team had some close calls against VT and Boston College. It's all about winning. Winning close games like that builds character & can bring a team even closer together. I don't care how they win as long as they continue to just find a way to win.

I do get the sense that the coaching staff is game planning with the assumption that our boys are in good enough condition to outlast any team in the country. While there is certainly a hope that talent and depth will improve, this coaching staff puts the team in position to win every week

When Syracuse started moving the ball late in the third/early in the fourth, it felt like the bottom could drop out at any minute and they'd get 3 quick scores. The pass rush just became relentless though, and that really is all thanks to outstanding conditioning and the attitude this team has developed. Was awesome to see Dungy really start running for his life.

Most exciting year I can remember l, does feel different than 2013 but we won’t know if it’s different til VT and ND.

Great point. The whole theme to the broadcast was that once SU got to 75 plays it was over for us. They were over 90 plays, and our defense rose up and reeled ***** down their throats. Dungheap looked more tired and beat down than our D did.

We are playing better each week IMO. That was Rosier's best game. We are getting healthy. DBs played well without Delaney.

Theres a lot to be excited about.

6-0 with a chance to get right against UNC before our two toughest games. Perfect.

They wouldn’t shut the **** up about the **** play count. And yet, just as you stated, we were the ones built for that. I criticized the constant subbing on the d-line, especially when it lead to confusion and penalties, but in the end it looks like that was what made the difference.

Ding ding ding The Franchise. That's all they kept highlighting. They even said Babers philosophy was once they get to 75, no matter who u are, you'll be gassed. It initially looked that way, and then on Syracuse's last two possessions, the def turned on a different switch. One our last offensive possession, the O turned on a different switch. It's a different team. I know Richt wants that IPF, and so do I...but the weather conditions we practice in is our biggest advantage. We now have the right S&C team to put our players in optimum endurance training. Everything about this program has a different feel.

What is not to love about this team? Every week a new player or 2 emerges and contributes to a win. We have a lot of elite level players that are getting better and stronger every week. Look at Michael Jackson. 2 weeks in a row this dude just shows out in 2 completely different ways. I couldn't be more excited about this team, mainly because they play with such passion and competitiveness.

Speak the truth Rell and 'Chise! Belief and culture change is all part of the process no doubt...but the advantage of our Defensive substitutions and our player conditioning was so clear these last few weeks. Taking into account the practice limitations because of Irma and lack of depth in certain places, I'm pleasantly surprised.

It's almost like you can see the team drop the Dr. Bruce Banner routine as we enter the 4th quarter; start turning green and bust out of their shirts by the end of the game. Babers got a solid future as a young coach, but he and everyone else is on notice - don't come in our house throwing up that "4" like you can out work us or execute better than us during crunch time.

Well, Miami being on ' upset ' early will be to rest this Saturday. hUh. Because, yes a host of national college pigskin pundits had put Miami on upset alert against the likes of mighty FSU, GA Tech and Syracuse. Too bad that collective are NOT seer's and all that.

Nevertheless, Cane fandom is SELLING Syracuse short. Because that is a decent squad, and they did defeat mighty Clemson after all. So I'm not surprise the game went down to the final quarter, because I knew Syracuse was NOT IN AWE of Miami. dUh.

Defense has some serious deficiencies and sometimes plays undisciplined but have come up huge every single time they needed to. I noticed this first against FSU last year. That game was going the way of a sound FSU victory cause our offense kept stalling and they just held up and gave us a chance. For once the bend don’t break phrase applies to our defense unlike when Dorito was here.

I feel like we play better on the road for some reason.. Plus our fan base on the road has been crazy....

They kept this crap up all of the second half right by the score box. Losers.
