Difference in this game was the 10 point special teams swing

What I don’t understand is why we seemingly don’t prioritize special teams. When was the last time we blocked a punt or even tried to block one? I recall the one blocked fg by Bain this year. Other teams use specials as a weapon or differentiator and either we’re treating it as an afterthought or the coaching on that units isn’t up to par.

He's a good coach but he's overrated imo. I'm not being sour grapes or ****y. But we let him off the ******* hook so many ******* times.
People just eat the narrative that’s out there. IUP is a fvckin D2 powerhouse. He didn’t create that. He went 14-9 at Elon and then took over a 14-1 JMU team. Brought in 14 good players from JMU and added a bunch of portal players. I’ll give him credit for realizing 23-24 year olds will typically be better players than 18-19 year olds.

No ******* reasons for Beck to throw that ******* ball. Plenty of time and already on their side of the field.
You pray for an opportunity to win that game with a well thrown ball down the sideline there. It’s only a bad call because of the egregious underthrow

Of all games, I didn't understand why the Canes didn't lean on the run more in the first half. They had the size advantage and Indy's D would have been gassed in the 4th quarter.
It didn’t matter what they leaned on, everything was predictable an easy to defend in the 1st half.

Especially considering our history of dominating on special teams.

Blocked punt for TD and our missed FG.

Sickening man. 🤮🤮🤮🤮

We will be back. Mario building a monster.
IIt was #87. He gave an olay love tap when he could have easily prevented the block. It was the laziest effort I've ever seen. Unacceptable in any game. 1000 times that in the national championship game.

he dropped a pick 6, because he didn't even break on the ball.

He gave up the 4th and 5 throw

He gave up the 3rd and 7 throw

He didn't seal the edge on the run that allowed a 1st down

...and he just simply sucks
How’s your truth of a nephew?

Dude got beat tonight, was one of our better DBs this year. Excited to have him back next year with some added strength

Bauman should never be allowed to play football again. That missed block on the punt was the laziest **** I've ever seen on a football field and it comes in the second half of the National championship. He just assumed the punter would get it off. How are you a football player and decide not to hit someone running right by you?

They mentioned during the game the Canes didn't run the ball from early in the 1st quarter until midway through the 2nd. I would have liked to see if they would have worn Indy out a bit by plugging away with the run a bit, but we'll never know sadly.

I think tonight puts to bed the nonsense of them being a top team of all time. Any teams on that list boat race Indiana by 35
No they aren't a best team of all time, teams just cannot load up on talent like they used too. You will never see another 2019 LSU, 2001 Miami or any of those truly goat type teams.

This IU team gets dog walked by a dozen teams that won the natty this millennium
