Difference in this game was the 10 point special teams swing

Penalties. Their TD drive we had them 3 and out. Miami was the better team, but unfortunately you can never put away teams when you are ranked Top 3 in penalty yards.

Bain and Mesidor will truly be missed. Will be interesting to see who steps up next season.

Cb depth(injuries) finally caught up to us...1st round bye in the playoffs seems to be important..I don't know who the special teams coordinator is but he's not good...Bauman, do not look for a waiver, your time is up my guy...

That team ain't 2001 Miami, or 2019 LSU, or the Urban UF teams or the USC teams.
No, they don't have the talent. What they are though is smart and efficient. They let the other team lose the game.

The dude is a **** of a coach. That being said, he looks like he is as much of a prick as Saban and I didn't think I would ever think someone could match Saban as being an insufferable ****, but this guy did it.

it’s the little things. Going for a fg at half, Toney fielding the punt, going 3 and out 2 times in a row right after, and a block punt that went for a td.

Dawson’s initial game planning is quite poor.

Really smart football people say Indiana might be the best team in college football history at doing the little things. They just don't beat themselves and they take advantage of opponents mistakes.

He's a good coach but he's overrated imo. I'm not being sour grapes or ****y. But we let him off the ******* hook so many ******* times.

Eh. You can’t really compare it to history. Half they’re guys are in 5-7th years

Of all games, I didn't understand why the Canes didn't lean on the run more in the first half. They had the size advantage and Indy's D would have been gassed in the 4th quarter.

GREAT SEASON and proud of our team . Too many penalties and HORRIFIC play calling by Dawson in the first half. Not going to blame Ruben Bain but his off sides cost us 7. He played a great game with a ton of heart. The real culprit to this loss was Baumann. He completely whiffed on his feeble attempt to block the rusher who made the play on the punt. Baumann not only whiffed but he let the guy run right by him. THAT WAS THE GAME CHANGER and I don't know what that knuckelhead Dawson sees in 87. Kudos to Mario but we got out coached too. This team was special and I do believe we should have won. NOBODY should be blaming Carson Beck at all. Mario needs to part ways with Dawson because is an average OC if that. Cam Ward made him last year and this year he made many blunders and tonight in the first half capsulizes his lack of creativity and total predictability. Lots of credit to Mario!
