Yeah, in this game they were given a break from getting beat, so UNC could focus on the seam.

Presumes facts not in evidence. I don’t see signs of young Lbs being developed.
 
To me it has to be Heatherman and his scheme….there is Never anyone in the middle of the field and if the LBers weren’t being schemed out of the middle I can’t see why they would vacate the area on EVERY play.

It not only hurts us in the passing game it hurts in the running game cause if the back isn’t stopped at the LOS he’s not hit again until until he gets to the safeties.
 




This is why it’s important to have football IQ and watch film. Watch Elliot Washington (Clemson) identify the threat on this play and favor the side of Duece Robinson. Both plays Daniels stares the route down never even tries to look off the safety. So I ask why was Thorton late to get over the top of the route but Washington basically was waiting for the ball like a fair catch. A coach can call the play but as a player you have to see the field and know tendencies. Basically same play from the slot that Poyser got beat on. Also the td to 45 earlier in the game. Also, in the Pitt game when Lucas closed on the ball. Receiver got behind the safety on that play and if the qb drives that ball more inside that was a td. Safety play has been abysmal
